Pepernoten, pepernoten, pepernoten....

Today Sinterklaas and his zwarte pieten (black petes) arrived in the netherlands. I watched it on tv and luckily everything went well and they arrived safe here ( Every year something goes wrong ;) ). I had already bought a big bag of pepernoten ( it's a candy that is eaten when sinterklaas is in our country and it's really jummy!), because I wanted to put them in a nice box or something. When I got my Cards only (dutch magazine), I saw they had had the same idea and I was inspired by their project. I took some foil and I have folded a bag from it. I put some pepernoten in it and wrapped a red gingham ribbon around it to close it. Then I took a strip of red cardstock and I folded it so I could put my bag in it. I liked it that the foil was peeping out of the top, so I cut a hole with a circle nestabilitie. On the front I used some black and white dotted paper. Then I looked for a coloring page from Sinterklaas and the zwarte pieten on internet. I made it a little bit smaller and colored it with derwent pencils and OMS. I cut the image with circle nestabilities and added a red scalloped circle.

  1. Hallo Larissa,

  2. What cut packaging for the goodies! They look like mini ginger snap cookies...
