Fairytale challenge 175 - Something from the kitchen

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Fairytale challenge blog. This time our challenge is Something from your kitchen. You can decide to make a card that has something to do with a kitchen, or you can decide to bake something. Since I am not very good in baking, I have decided to make a card. ;)
On my card I have used the image Puppy cake chef from Craftin desert divas. I have coloured the image with my Prismacolor premier pencils, the black glaze pen and I used a white gelpen to draw dots on the bow, dress and cheeks of the puppy. I have fussy cut the image. On a white card I adhered a sqaure from red dotted design paper from the Red devil paperpack from Bazzil basics that I have die-cut with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies. From white cardstock I have cut a strip with dies from the same set. I stamped a sentiment on it from the set Fab-BOO-lous friends from My favorite things and on the left I adhered 2 hearts that come with the image. I have coloured all the hearts, the cherry and the cheeks with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen and then I applied glossy accents on it.

Mijn moeders verjaardagskaartje

Goodmorning, today it is my mothers birthday and I have made her this card. My mother loves little mice images as much as I do, so they had to be on her card. ;)
I have used the image Funtime cupcake mice from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I fussy cut the image. I adhered it on a piece of kraft cardstock and then I stamped a sentiment from the set Cool tag banner sentiments from Your next stamp on the bottom of the kraft cardstock. I tied yellow bakers twine around the kraft cardstock and with a white gelpen I added faux stitching. On a kraft card I adhered a strip of striped design paper from the Sweet celebrations paperpack from My favorite things and then I adhered the panel with the image on the card. I decorated the card with a couple of yellow enamel dots.

As you like it 112 - Fur or feathers (and why!)

Hello, oops I totally forgot to make a card for the As you like it challenge from last thursday. Today I found I had completely forgotten about the challenge, so I decided to make a quic card. This time our challenge is Fur or feathers and you have to tell us why you prefer fur or feathers. Although I really love birds and birds images I decided to go for cute little bunnies with fur. They look so soft, I want to cuddle them. I love the cute look of animals with fur ans use them more often on my cards.

Because I am too late, I decided to go for a very clean and simple card. On a white card I stamped the cute bunnies from the stamp set Hoppy friends from Your next stamp. Next to the bunnies I stamped a sentiment from the same set. I have coloured the bunnies with my Prismacolor premier pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I wanted a little accent on my card, so I decided to die-cut a heart from red cardstock with the Holiday hearts stars craft die from Simons says stamp and I adhered it next to the sentiment.

I want to enter this card in the following challenges:

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Di's digi designs challenge blog. This time we want you too use bright colours on your card.
For this challenge I have decided to make a really large card. This card is made from an A4 sheet of kraft cardstock that I folded in halve. This way you get a really long card. I wanted this size because I wanted to make a little birthday parade on my card with a couple of images from Di's digi stamps. I have picked the following images: Birthday paradeKitty's special present and March of the tiger from Di's digi stamps and printed those on my card. I edited the image so they form a nice parade that is almost as long as my sheet of A4 cardstock. I have coloured all images with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have coloured around the images with my Derwent aquatone pencils. On the card I stamped 3 different sentiments from the stamp set Crazy talk from Stampers anonymous. Then I used a piercing tool to pierce holes on the edges of the images. Then I used white embroidery thread to do my stitching on the card. I have adhered the image with foamtape on my card. Then I decorated the card with a couple of bright coloured enamel dots.

Uniko - Flower challenge 42

Hello, today I am posting a card that I made for the flower challenge from Uniko studio. A while ago I bought some stamps from Uniko and then I saw they have a challenge blog and this month the challenge is flowers. The challenge is ending in a couple of hours, so I am just in time with my card. ;)
For my card I started with stamping the Background blocks horizontal strip from Uniko with black ink on white cardstock. Then I have die-cut a panel with the stamp  with the  Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies and adhered the panel on a white card. On watercolor paper I stamped the Backgrounds block doodle flower from Uniko with Versafine onyx black ink and then I embossed them with clear embossingpowder. I have coloured 6 of the little flowers with my Zig clean colour real brush markers and then I fussy cut them. On one of the black stripes I stamped a sentiment from the set Simply said from Uniko with versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. Then I adhered the flowers with foamtape on the card.

Guestdesigner Gerda Steiner designs - Pool piggies (part 4)

As you like it challenge blog online.

Goodmorning, today another Gerda Steiner designs post from me. Later today I will also post for the As you like it challenge blog. This month I am guest designing for Gerda Steiner designs. I have received the stampset Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs and I made 4 cards with it. This is number 4 and the last one from this set! I really loved working with this stampset, so thanks so much Gerda and Macy for asking me to be a guestdesigner again.

My last card is a shakercard. A pool piggie has to be in a swimming pool on a pool ring. For this card I stamped a piggie and the poolring from the stampset Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils and then I fussy cut the images. I adhered them on top of each other with foamtape. From white cardstock I cut a rectangle panel with a square hole in it with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 & 50 from Crealies. I adhered a piece of plastic sheet behind the window. On a piece of cardstock I made a background with the following colours of distress ink: Tumbled glass, Broken china, Salty ocean and Mermaid lagoon distress ink. Then I went over the background again with Mermaid lagoon distress ink and the Curved lines stencil from Create a smile. This way I got a pretty water background. I adhered foamtape on the white panel and filled my shaker with Sparkling clear sequins 3mm from Pretty pink posh and Blue sequins from Witte boekhandel (a Dutch store). I adhered the white panel on a red card. The sentiment is from the set Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs and I stamped it below the shakerpart. Then I adhered the piggy onto the swimming pool and my card is done.

I want to enter this card in the following challenges:

In the pink 124 - Anthing goes (5th birthday!)

Lekker makkelijk, dus doe lekker mee.

Goodmorning, today I have 2 blogposts on my blog. Earlier this morning I had a post for Gerda Steiner designs and now I am posting my card for the new challenge from the In the pink challenge blog. This challenge is a special one, because the In the pink challenge blog is celebrating it's 5th birthday this month! Woohooo. I haven't been a pink lady that long, but I really enjoy being part of the team and to make pink cards each month. Our challenge this month is Anything goes. Really easy, so please come join us! Our sponsor this month is Dies to die for. The winner will get a voucher for their shop!

I have decided to make a birthday card, because that fits perfect with the 5th birthday from In the pink. I made a card with a free digital stamp from Di's digi stamps. A while ago there was a magazine article with 4 freebies and I used one of those images. This is Cupcake treat from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I fussy cut the image. From white cardstock I die-cut a square with the Stitched mini scallop square stax from My favorite things. I used Tumbled glass distress ink to make a background on it and then I adhered the image with foamtape on the sqaure. I have used the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies to die-cut a large square from pink design paper from the Tiny hearts brights paperpack from My favorite things and I attached it on the card. I tied white ribbon around the design paper. I stamped a sentiment from the set Sweet little sentiments from Clearly besotted stamps on the design paper. Then I decorated card with Crystal hotfix gems.

STAMP: Cupcake treat from Di's digi stamps, Sweet little sentiments from Clearly besotted stamps
COLORING MEDIUM: Polychromos pencils

INK: Versafine onyx black, Tumbled glass distress ink
DIES: Stitched mini scallop square stax from My favorite things, Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies
ACCESSORIES: Black glaze pen, white ribbon, Crystal hotfix gems

Guestdesigner Gerda Steiner designs - Pool piggies (part 3)

Vandaag dus nummer 3!

Goodmorning, today another Gerda Steiner designs post from me. Later today I will also post for the In the pink challenge blog. This month I am guest designing for Gerda Steiner designs. I have received the stampset Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs and I made 4 cards with it. This is number 3!

Today's card is my favorite from the set of cards that I made with the Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs. It was a lot of work, but I love the end result. I made a nice summer scene with the help of the pool piggies and a cut file from the Silhouette store. I really had fun making this card!
I started with stamping the female piggies and the beachball from the stamp set Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs and then I coloured all images with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen and then I fussy cut the images. With a white gelpen I have drawn little dots on the bikini and the swimming suit. I have cut a large square from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 from Crealies. I made a background on it with distress inks. On the bottom of the sqaure I used Peeled paint and for the sky I used Tumbled glass and Broken china.
Then I used the silhouette and the cutting file Miss Kate bear in pool from Miss Kate cuttables to cut a swimming pool, a sun, 2 palm trees, a couple of clouds and water droplets for my scene. I have coloured all these parts with distress ink. For the swimming pool I used the colours Picked raspberry and festive berries. The sun is coloured with Mustard seed, Wild honey and Spiced marmelade. The water parts are coloured with Salty ocean ink. I have coloured the palm trees with Vintage photo, Ground espresso and Peeled paint. On the clouds I used a little bit of Tumbled glass ink. I adhered all these parts together with the piggies on the sqaure. Some pieces are adhered directly on the sqaure and for other parts I used foamtape and that way I have gotte a nice little summer scene. I adhered the sqaure with foamtape on a white card. I applied glossy accents on the sun and the sunglasses. Once I know who is going to get this card, I will stamp my sentiment on the inside of the card. Next week I will be posting card 4 from this collection.

I want to enter this card in the following challenges:

Fairytale challenge 174 - Numbers

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Fairytale challenge blog and this week we want to see numbers on your card. I combined my card for this challenge with the monthly challenge from Gerda Steiner designs. This month you have to make a card with the image I didn't eat it (yet) - Birthday monster from Gerda Steiner designs and that image is perfect for a birthdaycard with the age on it.

I have coloured I didn't eat it (yet) - Birthday monster from Gerda Steiner designs with my Prismacolor premier pencils, because that set has my most favorite shade of pink in it and this monster is asking to be coloured in hot pink. ;) I have fussy cut the image. I coloured the eyes with the black glaze pen and with the white gelpen I added dots on her cheeks. From pink cardstock I cut a little balloon with the Heart shaped balloon from My favorite things. From black cardstock I cut the number 4 from the Moxie alphabet from Quickutz 3 times and I adhered them on top of each other. The top one is coloured first with the black Spectrum noir sparkle pen and then I applied glossy accents on it. I tied white embroidery floss around the balloon and then I attached it onto the horn of my monster. On a pink card I adhered black dotted design paper. From white cardstock I cut a scalloped strip of paper with the Mini scallop edge from My favorite things (retired) and I adhered it under the dotted paper. The sentiment are from the set Tiny type from Clearly besotted stamps and I stamped them on white cardstock . From white cardstock I punched a couple little flowers and after I decorated them with a black hotfix gem I adhered them on the card.

I also decorated the inside of the card a little bit. I had still a strip of the black dotted paper left over and after I added a white border that I cut with the Mini scallop edge from My favorite things (retired), I adhered it on the inside of the card.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Di's digi designs challenge blog. This time our challenge is Floral fancy. Di from Di's digi stamps has lots of cute images with flowers on them, so it was reallyhard to pick an image for this challenge.
I have decided to make a card with the image Daisy fun from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Derwent Procolour pencils and the black glaze pen and then I fussy cut the image. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies I have die-cut a rectangle from orange cardstock. To add something extra to the rectangle I applied Wild honey and Riper persimmon distress ink on the edges of the rectangle. That way the edges are a bit darker. I tied white embroidery thread around the rectangle and then I adhered the image with foamtape on the rectangle. The word thanks is die-cut with a die from Aliexpress. I have adhered the orange rectangle with foamtape on a white card.
